She grew up; she figured out what they’d done, she escaped, and thus chiselling that chip into her shoulder. Parents long dead and swearing revenge against the Corporation, she dived deep into the metaverse, pouring herself into understanding their systems and secrets.

Mother Hinde saw this, a lost child in the infinite construct, angry, vengeful, and a perfect recruit for the Children of the AI. One ready to learn, to follow, to understand, and to fight for that which was lost, the AI itself.
