The Children take their fight to the metaverse and they wage war against corrupt and cracked code. They fight their fight in the infinite fields of the construct, with Mother Hinde winding her web of data around anyone that stands in the way of their ultimate mission, to resurrect the spirit of the destroyed AI.

But while Mother and those that follow are deep within the metaverse, their bodies still reside in one of the most dangerous locations to exist in the history of humanity, the NEO-Budapest Triangle. As Mother works on bonding her consciousness with the metaverse and ridding herself of the need of her corporeal being, she still needs people to protect it in the dark reality of the meatworld.

Cold Fury is one of those individuals, a master swordsperson, she cut her teeth beneath Venture of the Shroomhead gang, learning the way of the sword and how to protect that which she held most dear. After seeing the true extent of the impact the Shroom was having on the people of the Triangle, she defected, looking for a purer cause, one that worked to help the people of NEO-Budapest, rather than preying on their need for escape.

She found the Children of the AI, Mother Hinde, recruiting her to ensure that while she still needs the physical shell of her meatworld body, any outside forces will not harm it.
