The Peacekeepers, more a paramilitary force than police, more a marauding gang of thug mercenaries than a constabulary. A wall of meat, a hammer that rose out of the ashes of Old Europa and has been the tool against descent and rebellion ever since the NEO-Budapest Triangle formed.
Vladislav, a man born into the slums of Old Europa, scraped by with his fists as the main tool he had to survive. Violence and intimidation became his bread and butter, and often the only thing that provided him with anything to eat at all. First kill came at 14, by 20 he’d lost count, and this in a time and a place that still had some semblance of law and order.
When NEO-Budapest rose from the ashes of Old Europa, while many fell during the Black Lake incident, some saw opportunity. As the new world formed, he kept tabs on who the biggest gangs were, who had the most weapons, who had the most authority, and out of them all, he knew it was the police.
He joined the Peacekeepers, drawn to their brutal tactics and lack of restraint, but he is one of those double brutal few. Vladislav excelled in rooting out any hint of weakness among the Peacekeepers' troops. He was utterly merciless, killing suspected traitors on the slimmest pretexts.
Before long they promoted him to an enforcer role, patrolling the streets of the Triangle to keep Peacekeeper troops in line. While the Peacekeeper elite sat in comfort making deals, Vladislav prowled the streets bloodying his knuckles to maintain fear and obedience. From time to time taking a break from cracking the skulls of rebellious Peacekeepers to dish out a little pain on the gangs of the Triangle, tangling with the meanest the Kings and the Shroomheads have to offer, and often coming up without a scratch on his heavily modified and cybernetically enhanced skull.
Now, he continues hunting the streets to this day, his name whispered in fear among Peacekeeper troops. They know he is always watching for any sign of weakness or disloyalty to punish with swift brutality. Vladislav asks no questions and feels no guilt when handing out violence in the name of the Peacekeepers. He rules the streets with an iron fist full of blood, revelling in the power it brings.
